Under fire Co-operative Governance Minister Sicelo Shiceka has evoked anger across Transkei for building a mansion in the poorest district of the Eastern Cape.
The village, Ingquza Hill, lacks any kind of service delivery. However, this has not affected the construction of Shiceka’s new house which is being built at a "steady pace".
Now residents in the village are threatening a "massive revolt similar to Egypt and Libya" if construction is not stopped.
According to a Sunday Times report, municipal trucks cart in water, a tarred road is being rerouted past his house and the property will be among the first to be electrified. Read more: Dispatchonline
